Midthunder is a member of Fort Peck's Assiniboine as well as the Sioux Tribe. She is originally of The Navajo Nation of Shiprock in New Mexico. After spending the majority of her youth at Santa Fe (where she went to the Academy for Technology and the Classics and where her mom worked for a casting house) after which she came home. Amber's dad is Native American, and they are both enrolled in the Fort Peck Sioux Tribe. Amber is adopted with an adopted mom as such, which is why Amber is not of known mixed ancestry. Prey includes a mostly Native American ensemble, with Dakota Beavers playing Naru's older brother, and Jhane myers acting as the producer. Jhane is Comanche and Blackfeet and has advised the show on a couple of occasions. Coco the charming animal actress who plays Sarii was selected for her rare breed that is known as the American Dingo. Carolina Dogs are one of oldest breeds.
Another message is also present in this whole thing. Throughout the film TJ recounts the love he has for Amanda and how she is everything to him (although some of the narration could be actually about Amanda's daughter if we examine it further). He confessed his feelings towards Amanda, but she was reluctant as she was dating Daniel. Jack ultimately got married Amanda. Emily, however, revealed herself when Amanda was killed. Since then, they are best of friends. After the series, they'll marry. Amanda is able to kiss Wilf only before midnight. The prize is won by one person.
